I went with
Once we got there, we walked around for a bit to look at all of the cosplays! I wasn't too much impressed, but there were a couple of good ones. However, there were way too many Misa's for anyone's own good. -_- And most of them weren't even in the proper get-up. It looked like some wannabe fell in a punk-esque closet and stumbled out, tied her hair in pigtails and felt confident they were Misa Misa. Lots of L's (of course), and I only felt that one of them was a 'good L'. At least they tried.
We went into the merchandise area, and I fell in love with some Lolita dresses. But I forgot to bring enough money, and only had about $30. ;-; I ended up buying a blue bear hat, after a lot of indecisiveness, which came with a free button [panda]. At the Artist's Alley, I got three more adorable buttons! Gaara, Sesshoumaru, and L! ^_^
For some reason, my feet started to hurt, and I guess by then, we had already spent most of our money and decided to go home. It was only barely 2:00pm. :c I felt pretty unsatisfied, but I had lost my badge, so I don't think I could've gotten anywhere without getting in trouble. To get a badge, I'd have to go all the way back in the registration line, making the pre-reg thing useless. We didn't really go to see anything, like the shows, or workshops, which I was kind of disappointed. But at least we got merchandise. XD
A long time ago, I had fallen in love with a black and red kimono-style lolita dress, and I always look at it on Cosmates.com. I actually saw that same one at Anime Boston! Sadly, it was $110--wayyy more than any of us had brought. :c
I lost my badge, so I couldn't go back the next day, either--not that my parents prolly would've let me buy it. ._. It was so beautiful though.
Lots of the Lolita's there weren't too great. ._. At least in my opinion--I'm very picky, and judge girls harshly. xD;;;
And today, I just came home from watching Night at the Museum, and X-Men Origins; Wolverine. O: Both were really good. I've never watched any movie that was originally a comic (such as Superman, Spiderman, Batman, etc.) and I was really impressed with the latter. Much more serious than anything I would usually watch with my family in the theatres (we always watch comedies or kiddy-esque movies). My mom kept asking my 12 year old brother if he was scared.
I plan on uploading some artwork soon! Maybe tomorrow, or tonight, after I come home from my cousin's house.
